Salute to General Ingram

This week I lost a great friend of 20 years, and America lost a true American Hero named Brigadier General Reginald Ingram. General Ingram was one of the few remaining members of the world famous World War II Tuskegee Airmen, famously known as the only Squadron of Fighter Pilots to NEVER lose a Bomber Escort Plane throughout World War II. Due to the unfortunate racism of the time, initially no one wanted their escorts in the early stages of their existence; however by the end of WWII they were in such high demand that they couldn’t keep up with the substantial request that was there for their services. General Ingram was 84 years old, and leaves behind (Doris) a loving wife of 60 year, along with two sons, Reginald Jr, and Scott. General Ingram was deeply loved by everyone who ever met him, and will be desperately missed by many of us. May God Bless & Keep You General!
